Man Leads Police on Chase in Bedford

A Nashua man is in custody after he led police on a high-speed chase.

The incident began when 42-year-old Nicholas Soukaras sped off from an officer who had stopped him for a speed violation on the Everett Turnpike in Bedford.

During the chase, police say Soukaras’ vehicle reached speeds of more than 100 miles per hour before the chase came to an end in a residential neighborhood.
