Man Sentenced for Causing Crash in Brentwood

A man has been sentenced for causing a serious crash in Brentwood that left a police officer injured.

Prosecutors say 21-year-old Logan Goodwin was riding a motorcycle last Memorial Day when he hit the officer who was trying to prevent Goodwin from colliding with paradegoers.

The officer was seriously hurt and is still unable to work.

The judge ordered Goodwin to spend up to seven years in prison.
