Man Who Planned Mass Shooting Released on Probation
A Manchester man who was convicted for planning a mass shooting is being released on probation.
Last September, 34-year-old Christopher Stewart was arrested after making a threat about a shooting at the University of New Hampshire Manchester campus, which led to the discovery of a loaded AR-15 and 49 rounds of ammunition in his nearby residence.
The situation has been blamed on Stewart’s mental illness, so the judge ordered he resume mental health treatment as part of his probation.
