Manchester Mayor Reveals 2025 Budget Plan

Manchester Mayor Jay Ruais has revealed his budget plan for the upcoming 2025 fiscal year.

His proposal calls for a total of $437-million-dollars in spending and of those funds, almost $228-million dollars would go to the city’s schools.

This budget also accounts for the hiring freeze that is currently in effect and avoids any layoffs of city employees.

A public hearing on this proposal is scheduled for April 16th at 6pm.
