Manchester School Therapist Faces Assault Charges
A Manchester elementary school therapist is facing charges after he allegedly beat up a seven-year-old student last month.
Police say 69-year-old Efstatiou was charged last week with second-degree assault, two counts of simple assault, and endangering the welfare of a child following the alleged, December 22nd incident at Parker Varney Elementary School.
He remains free after posting one thousand dollars’ bail. A court date in the case is pending. District officials say Efstatiou serves as a contracted provider at Parker Varney.
