Marine Patrol Investigating Discovery of Body Near Hampton Beach

State Police Marine Patrol are continuing to investigate the discovery of a body near Hampton Beach.

The remains of a man in fishing attire were recovered Wednesday near a jetty.

It’s unclear at this point why the man went into the water in the first place and people who work in the area say the surf was very rough.
