Minimum Security Inmate Placed on Escape Status

A minimum security inmate at the Calumet Transitional Housing Unit in Manchester has been placed on ‘escape status.’

The Department of Corrections said 74-year-old John Todd failed to return from an off-site job interview Monday.

Authorities discovered he never showed up for the scheduled interview.

Todd is serving time for kidnapping with the purpose to commit sexual assault and first-degree assault.
