Missing Manchester Transitional Housing Inmate Found in Somersworth

A man who officials say escaped from a Manchester transitional housing unit almost a month ago is back in custody.

Authorities say on October 7th Jacob Maciaszek, who was serving time for burglary and receiving stolen property, was on escape status after he allegedly failed to return to the facility from work.

State and local police located him Saturday at a Somersworth campsite, where he was taken into custody without incident.

Prior to briefly escaping, Maciaszek would have been eligible for parole in February.
