New Development in Manchester Eckersley Case

There’s a brand-new development in the ongoing legal case of Alexsandra Eckersley.

Her lawyers are now asking for a new trial because they believe no rational jury could’ve found Eckersley guilty of abandoning her newborn son nearly two years ago.

But prosecutors claim Eckersley lied to investigators and misled first responders who were trying to find the baby.

The child ended up surviving and is living with Eckersley and her mother in Massachusetts.

She’s scheduled to be sentenced in October.
