New Hampshire Republican Stalwart Ruth Griffin Dies Saturday in Portsmouth at Age 99
New Hampshire politicians on both sides of the aisle are mourning the death of Ruth Griffin, a pioneer in New Hampshire politics.
Griffin was elected to and served in New Hampshire’s House, Senate and Executive Council, and served two terms as Republican National Committeewoman.
She also served more than 40 years on the Portsmouth Housing Authority board before stepping down in 2020. Griffin died Saturday at the age of 99.
