New Hampshire Senators Comment on Spending Bill

Senator Jeanne Shaheen said she is relieved a stop gap spending bill passed Saturday night will keep the federal government open to mid-November.

However, she expressed disappointment that it does not include funding for Ukraine’s war effort.

Senator Maggie Hassan said a shutdown would have hurt the economy and jeopardized vital services for Granite Staters.

She also called it’s outrageous the bill doesn’t include funding for Ukraine.
