New Season At Ogunquit Starts With “Waitress”

The Ogunquit Playhouse in Maine  has opened up its 2024 season with the hit Broadway musical ” Waitress” with music and lyrics by Sara Bareilles.

” Waitress” is a celebration of resilience, friendship and finding the courage to follow your dreams.

Actress Desi Oakley plays the lead character Jenna, a pie maker, who finds herself trapped in an unhappy marriage.  Desi joined Mike Pomp on the Morning Information Center to talk about Waitress and her favorite role.
