Trauma of January 6th Lingers For Congresswoman Kuster

President Joe Biden has marked the anniversary of the violent Capitol insurrection by forcefully condemning Donald Trump’s election “big lie” that sparked the deadly breaching of the building and continues to motivate deep national division.

He declared he will fight for ‘the soul of America’.

Congresswoman Annie Kuster had to be escorted out of the capitol during the insurrection.

“It’s a good reminder of how close we came, it turns out as I was being evacuated the rioters were just 40 to 50 feet away”, Kuster told Jack Heath.

She went on to say on Good Morning NH, “I am a victim, and I am a witness, we need to heal this country”.
