NH Doctor With An Important and Life Saving Conversation; Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month
March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.
Despite the challenges of the pandemic, colorectal cancer screening is safe and important and should not be delayed.
“If you look at cancer statistics it’s a tale of two cities. Those born around 1960 are carrying this risk. New research show they are seeing the steepest rise in advanced cases of late stage colon and rectal cancers”, Doctor Joseph Anderson said on Good Morning New Hampshire.
Colorectal Cancer is one of the most preventable types of cancer.
“45 is the new 50 to start screening everyone at average risk”, Anderson, of the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College told Jack Heath.
