A 14-year-old boy is hospitalized after he was stabbed several times during a fight last night in Nashua. A snowmobile accident in Pittsburgh is under investigation.  Thirty-six-year-old Nicole Dudley of Barrington was hurt yesterday when she was thrown from her snowmobile as she tried to make a sharp turn.  She was taken to Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook.  After Dudley was thrown, the snowmobile rolled over and sustained minimal damage.

Two hikers from southern New England are safe after they were rescued by Fish and Game conservation officers Saturday on the Greenleaf Trail in Franconia.  One of the hikers is from Rhode Island, the other is from Connecticut.  They called for help when they thought they were hypothermic and weather conditions were deteriorating.  Authorities said the men were not adequately prepared for the day’s forecast which called for rain, sleet and snow.

Data shows it was a case of good news and bad news for New Hampshire’s housing market last year. Home sales rose by over three-point-five percent in 2024, but that was the smallest increase since 2012, which is when the country was rebounding from the Great Recession. The median sales price for a single-family home was more than 500-thousand dollars, up from the previous record of 470-thousand in 2023. However, fewer Granite Staters are able to afford a new home these days.
