Pipe Bomb Suspect Under Indictment

A 54-year-old Webster man is under federal indictment in connection with two pipe bomb explosions in Weare in April.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office said Dale Stewart allegedly built and detonated the devices.

He faces three counts of possessing an unregistered firearm, specifically a destructive device.

Stewart has been in custody since his arrest.
