Police Use Narcan to Save Possibly Overdosing Infant in Claremont
Police say charges are likely after officers were prompted to use Narcan to save an overdosing infant last week in Claremont.
Officers were called to Main and Union streets on Thursday on a report that the child was in distress inside a vehicle.
After being given a dose of the lifesaving medicine for treatment of a likely fentanyl overdose, the child was airlifted to Dartmouth Health for treatment.
Police say one or more adults at the infant’s home will face charges.
