Saint-Gobain Closing Merrimack Plant

Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics is closing its plant in Merrimack.

The state has attributed widespread water contamination in Merrimack and several other communities to the plastics manufacturer.

The company said it will continue to provide permanent clean water solutions to about one thousand properties through a consent decree agreement with the state.
