Six People Now Safe After Being Rescued by Coast Guard in Portsmouth
Six people are lucky to be alive after having to be rescued by the United States Coast Guard.
The individuals had to abandon their fishing boat off the coast of Portsmouth Sunday night after the vessel caught fire.
They were later spotted floating on a life raft and were able to be brought to safety.
The good news is there weren’t any major injuries reported.
The Coast Guard says a rescue like this shows how important the training its members take part in is.
