Special Education Teacher Has Been Arrested

A special education teacher is facing charges in connection with an investigation of alleged abuse at an elementary school.

Authorities say 37-year-old Aimee Ragonese was arrested for child endangerment and assault.

Police were notified about abuse at Bakie Elementary School in Kingston last month.

The victims were between six and nine years old and a warrant was issued for Ragonese after evidence was gathered.

Ragonese turned herself in and is due in court January 28th.

The school has been in contact with parents of any students in the special education program who were potentially involved in the alleged incidents.
