State Officials Green-Light Plan to Deploy Officers to New Hampshire’s Northern Border

State officials are moving ahead with plans to deploy law-enforcement personnel to patrol New Hampshire’s border with Canada.

According to a state spokesperson, officers assigned to the Northern Border Alliance Task Force will respond to threats and potential hazards with the intent to reduce crime.

Task force officers reportedly will work under the direction of the state Attorney General’s Office.
