State Police Tight-Lipped After Suspect Taken Into Custody Yesterday At Bow Lake

(Strafford, NH) — One person is in custody in connection with an ongoing investigation linked to Bennett Island on Bow Lake.

Troopers say the as-yet-unidentified individual was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation shortly after 1:30 a.m.

A Rochester PD official said the individual may have been in possession of a firearm, and added that state officials voiced concern that the suspect may have been a danger to themself.
