State Rep. Wilhelm Says House Democratic Leader Cushing Was One Of A Kind

New Hampshire Republicans are mourning the death of House Democratic Leader Renny Cushing.

He died from prostate cancer at the age of 69.  State Representative Matt Wilhelm saying on Good Morning New Hampshire Cushing was a remarkable human being.

“He tackled one critical issue after another.  He showed courage, charm and wit, he was a one of a kind guy”, Wilhelm told Jack Heath.

Senate President Chuck Morse says Cushing was a tireless and passionate advocate for New Hampshire.

State Republican Party Chairman Stephen Stepanek says while they differed on political policy, Cushing’s dedication to working for the betterment of all Granite Staters was undeniable.
