Suicide Prevention Awareness Week Starts This Week in New Hampshire
This week is Suicide Prevention Awareness Week in New Hampshire.
Governor Chris Sununu signed a proclamation to that effect last week, teaming up with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, and the Department of Health and Human Services to make sure Granite Staters in need have access to resources.
A pair of crisis-stabilization units are scheduled to open in the fall, as dozens of patients currently are being housed in hospital emergency rooms.
