Suspects Arrested in Gift Card Scam Behind Bars in Concord

Two suspects arrested in connection with a gift card scam remain behind bars after facing a judge.

Tuesday the two Chinese nationals asked that their bail be lowered from $500,000, but that request was rejected.

It’s alleged they used money that was stolen from gift cards to buy various Apple products.

Those items were found in the apartment where the suspects were living.
