Teen Hospitalized Following Hampton Stabbing

A teenager is hospitalized following Friday night’s apparent road-rage stabbing in Hampton.

Local police say the 17-year-old victim and an 18-year-old man got into a fight linked to an unspecified vehicular incident on High Street shortly before 9pm.

All involved parties have been identified.

The juvenile who was stabbed was the person who left the scene. The other person was not reported to have fled the scene.

Whether this was a crime or self-defense is being investigated. No charges have been filed.
