Two Former Nurses Indicted
Two former nurses are under federal indictment in connection with the diversion of dangerous narcotics by medical professionals.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office said 63-three-year-old Robin Nichols of Newbury is accused of replacing liquid fentanyl with saline in a syringe intended for a surgical patient at Catholic Medical Center in April.
47-year-old Lisa Richardson of Northfield is accused of taking liquid fentanyl from an ICU patient at Concord Hospital in December of 2022.
They both could face federal prison time and hundreds-of-thousands-of-dollars in fines.
