U.S. Postal Workers Hold Protest Outside State House
Letter carriers with the United States Postal Service are calling for increased benefits, pay and safety measures.
Hundreds of workers held a rally outside the State House in Concord Sunday.
The employees have been without a contract for the last year and a National Association of Letter Carriers president says that pay is so low that some workers need to sleep in their cars because they can’t afford a house or apartment.
Federal law prevents postal workers from going on strike.
