The Northern Rail Trail is Growing

The Northern Rail Trail has reached the Concord city line.  The Monitor reports the Friends of the Northern Rail Trail organization has donated about one-hundred-thousand dollars to the New Hampshire Department of Transportation to purchase a half-mile stretch of old railroad track to extend the trail which goes 59 miles to Lebanon.  The city of Concord and the state are currently in talks to purchase another six miles to further-expand the trail into the capital city.
