Warning About Federal Court-Related Scams in NH

The public is warned about two federal court related scams in New Hampshire.

The first is a jury summons scam to obtain a call recipients personal information and the payment of a fine.

The second is a cash bond scam designed to receive virtual currency deposits to pay for bail for alleged pending criminal charges against the call recipient.

Scam callers claim to be a U.S. Marshall or a state or local law enforcement officer.
