1870 Portsmouth Home to be Demolished for New Housing Development

A plan to demolish a historic home off Woodbury Avenue and combine the property with two other parcels to create a housing development has been approved by the city’s Planning Board.
The board recently granted site plan approval for the project, which calls for demolishing the existing run-down home at 212 Woodbury Avenue, and replacing it with four single-family homes and two duplexes on the combined site, according to documents filed with the city.
