No Injuries Reported Following Lift Malfunction

No injuries have been reported following a lift malfunction at the Cannon Mountain ski resort in Franconia.

The incident happened yesterday when a bolt on the lift failed and ski patrol had to use rope to get passengers to safety.

The evacuation ended up taking about two hours and Cannon Mountain officials say crews often train for a situation like this one.  Guests were offered the option of a refund or credit toward a future visit.
