NH DMV Warning People About Message Scam

The New Hampshire Department of Motor Vehicles is warning people about an ongoing scam.

The agency says people reported getting text messages asking them to submit personal information. The message tells the recipient their profile information is incomplete and to update their NH DMV contact details by clicking a link. That link goes to a website that looks like an official DMV page but it’s not.

The DMV doesn’t ask for personal information this way and anyone who gets this text should delete it.
