DOT Is Planning To Install Barriers Along I-95

The NH state Department of Transportation is moving forward with a plan to install barriers along a dangerous section of Interstate 95.

The goal of those barriers that’d be set up on a five-mile stretch of road from Route 151 in North Hampton to Sherburne Road in Portsmouth would be to help reduce the number of serious crashes.

The price tag for this project will be at least three-million-dollars.  Construction could begin later this year.
