AG’s Office Says Strafford County Sheriff Under Investigation

The state Attorney General’s office says that a criminal investigation has been opened up into Strafford County Sheriff Mark Brave.

Brave tells WMUR-TV that the AG’s office is accusing him of using county funds to go on trips and also using money to pay for an employee’s housing.

He went on to say he is cooperating fully and that he’ll be exonerated.

The AG’s office hasn’t released the specific details of its probe.
