Bill Proposed That Would Allow Kangaroos to Become Pets

A bill has been proposed by a member of the state legislature that would allow New Hampshire residents to keep kangaroos as pets.

The measure sponsored by Republican Representative Tom Mannion of Pelham would also clear the way for people to own animals such as raccoons, foxes, otters, and skunks.

Right now, there are 13 states that allow kangaroo ownership without a permit.

There’s no word if or when this bill will come up for a vote.
