Binnie Media’s SEALs By The Sea Event Raises $144,500 For Veterans
July 10, 2021

On Friday, July 9th Binnie Media hosted their first annual SEALs By The Sea VIP Luncheon event. The newest addition to the Swim With a Mission Veteran Festival was held at the beautiful Wentworth By The Sea Country Club.

Over 150 people showed up in support of Veterans, including generous event sponsors, Binnie Media staff, and most importantly 35 Navy SEALs, past and present, their families, and their friends.

Phil Taub, co-founder of Swim With A Mission, reflected on how impressive the event was saying during his opening remarks, “There are approximately only 2,500 active-duty Navy SEALs in the country, and we have with us 35 SEALs in one room. Pretty special.”

The luncheon kicked off at 9am with a live broadcast of The Pulse of NH News Talk Radio Network’s ‘Good Morning NH with Jack Heath.’ Coming off a hugely successful Veterans Count radiothon in May, the long-time news talk radio host is no stranger to raising money for Veterans in New Hampshire and across the country.

Through the sale of VIP tickets and a live auction, Binnie Media’s SEALs By The Sea event was able to raise over $144,500 for the Navy SEAL Museum in Fort Pierce, as well as Trident Tuition Funds, and Swim With A Mission.

What started as a singular event in 2017 by Phil and Julie Taub, Swim With A Mission has grown to include three full days’ worth of fundraising events all benefiting Veterans’ services in New Hampshire and the Navy SEAL Museum. The fundraising began on Thursday (July 8) with Paintball With A Mission, followed by Green Beret With A Mission and Binnie Media’s SEALs By The Sea VIP Luncheon on Friday (July 9), and the cornerstone event Swim With a Mission Veteran Festival on Saturday (July 10).

Since its inception Swim With A Mission has raised over $6 million to help Veteran organizations. For more information and to donate please visit swimwithamission.org.
