Candidates for Governor React to Trump Shooting

Republican candidates for governor in New Hampshire, Kelly Ayotte and Chuck Morse, reacted quickly to Saturday’s attempted assassination of former President Trump.

Ayotte said she’s thankful the attempt on the life of the former president failed. Morse said Trump’s opponents will do everything in their power to keep him from returning to the Oval Office, but that it won’t work. Democrats Joyce Craig and Cindi Warmington also issued statements. Craig said political violence is unacceptable and Warmington called it a sad day for the country.
