Concord Resident Faces Multiple Charges

Forty-five-year-old Christopher Hayward of Concord is facing multiple charges after a pursuit through several communities.

A vehicle reported to have caused damage in Vermont was spotted by a state trooper around 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The driver refused to stop, and the pursuit began on I-93 south in Thornton and continued onto Route 3 South in Boscawen.

Hayward abandoned his vehicle, but he was captured after he tried to flee on foot.
