Consumer Scam Alert Issued In NH

There has been a spike in scam text messages in New Hampshire claiming to be from state courts.

The messages appear to be an official notice and allege the recipients have missed a court date or owe a fine.

They are directed to click on a link to submit a payment.

The Attorney General’s Office warns the texts are fraudulent and people should not click on any links or provide any personal information.
