Do Not Call 9-1-1 for Power Outages During the Storm
There’s a winter storm watch for almost all regions of New Hampshire.
Precipitation is likely to begin Wednesday as a mix of snow and sleet except heavy rain in the southern part of the state and the coast before a change to snow there early Thursday.
In the north it will be all snow accumulating 12 to 18 inches, or more.
Elsewhere 6 to 12 inches is possible, with lesser amounts in Manchester and to the south.
Do not call 9-1-1 for power outages during this storm, please make sure you use your local utility’s outage number or website.
Calling 9-1-1 does nothing to accelerate restoring electricity and clogs the system for very real emergencies.
