Dover Police Make Arrest In Shots Fired Incident

Dover Police have arrested 28 year old Alexander Tibbetts-Cullen of Rochester, He has been charged with nine counts of Reckless Conduct and Felon in Possession of a Dangerous Weapon.

The arrest stems from an incident that occurred in the early morning hours of November 23rd when officers from the Dover Police Department responded to the area of Fourth Street at Cara’s Irish Pub, for a report of shots fired. As the officers investigated the scene, they recovered a total of nine shell casings outside the bar.

Interviews of witnesses led to the identification of Alexander Tibbetts-Cullen as the person that had fired the shots. The investigation revealed that he had been involved in a disturbance inside Cara’s Irish Pub and was told to leave. After he left, he was seen firing the shots into the air with a handgun. There were no reported injuries.

This investigation remains open and active. Tibbets-Cullen was arraigned this morning in Dover District Court.
