Durham Native Knows When He’ll Blast Off to Outer Space

A New Hampshire native now knows the date he’ll be blasting off to outer space.

Scott Poteet of Durham is the piloting the SpaceX Polaris Dawn rocket that’s set to lift off early Wednesday morning.

The launch has been delayed several times due to factors like poor weather and a helium leak.

Poteet said in a message on social media he is hoping for a clear launch day without any problems.
