Eversource Customers May See Rate Increase in August

Eversource customers should anticipate getting a double-digit increase in their August energy bills.

The company has requested that the Public Utilities Commission allow it to raise rates by more than 17% starting on August 1st.

If the commission approves the rate increase, customers who use 600 kilowatt hours per month could pay about $22 more each month.
