Fatal Concord Crash

One person is dead following a crash involving a bicyclist and a vehicle in Concord.

The crash happened around 3:15 p.m. yesterday in the area of South Main Street and Holly Street.

Officials said the bicyclist, who was identified as 61-year-old Joel Bashaw, of Concord, was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and was not injured.
