Firefighters Respond After Flash Flooding in Manchester
Firefighters had a busy Sunday helping people out after some flash flooding in the Manchester area.
Strong thunderstorms that passed through the area led to localized flooding along some streets.
The flood waters were so bad on Amherst Street that several people climbed to the tops of their cars to escape the racing water and had to be rescued by firefighters.
Emergency crews say the incident is a good reminder for people to not drive through flooded roads since conditions can change quickly.
