Former Concord Cop Faces Charges
A now-former Concord police officer is out on bail after he allegedly fired through an adjoining wall of his neighbor’s apartment last week.
Department sources say 28-year-old Jamal Vilmont was fired from the force after he was arrested and charged with reckless conduct in the incident.
The neighbor reportedly told police they heard a shot and found a bullet hole in their wall.
Vilmont, who officials say was hired last January as a probationary officer, reportedly will go before a judge.
