Former Laconia Resident Charged in Child’s Death Appears in Court

A former Laconia resident charged in connection with her grandson’s death has appeared in court.

Monday 61-year-old Sherry Connor faced a judge after an indictment was handed up against her last week.

Prosecutors say had a role in the passing of five-year-old Dennis Vaughan on Christmas Eve 2019.

An autopsy revealed that the boy had dozens of contusions on his body.

Connor remains behind bars without bail.
