The current New Hampshire Speaker of the House will continue in that role for another two years. The Republican caucus has again selected Londonderry Representative Sherman Packard as leader. First elected in 1990, next year will be his 17th term in the Legislature. House Democrats were expected to pick their minority leader today.
Outgoing Governor Chris Sununu is hinting at what he may do when he leaves office. He’s looking at opportunities in the private sector which he said may include helping companies navigate around political landmines. Sununu also said he considering the possibility of a role in media. The governor adds that he hasn’t signed on the dotted line yet with anything.
