German Shepherd Rescued in Kingston
A German Shepherd is safe after being rescued from a well in Kingston on Sunday, according to a story from Channel 9.
The Plaistow Fire Department said it was called to help with the rescue around 8 p.m.
The dog fell about 20 feet into the well after the lid had been moved by a snowplow.
According to the fire department, a Kingston firefighter was lowered into the hole and was able to get the dog out.
Firefighters said the dog was taken to a vet and is doing well.
